Consultation description

The Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Nicky Morgan, today (9 October 2019) announced that she is proposing to accept statutory undertakings set out by the parties involved in the proposed acquisition of Inmarsat plc by Connect Bidco Limited (a company registered in Guernsey, company number 66187). The undertakings from the parties are published today in draft for consultation and are intended to provide assurances that sensitive information is protected and enhanced security controls are in place to ensure the continued supply of key services used by the Ministry of Defence. The Secretary of State is also publishing the CMA’s report.
