In 2012, as part of the government’s red tape challenge designed to remove unnecessary legislation, Defra proposed the repeal of the construction Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP) regulations, subject to consultation on the impact of doing so.

This consultation invites views on the proposed repeal of the Site Waste Management Plans Regulations 2008.
