The consultation was launched on 4 August 2014 and will run until 30 November 2014.

It sets out 5 different options for the future and asks respondents:

  • to set out their preferred option and why
  • for their views on whether current Independent Living Fund (ILF) recipients in Northern Ireland should have their payments protected
  • if any other options should be considered

We have written to all ILF users in Northern Ireland, or their award managers, about the consultation.
