Northern Ireland launches consultation on future support for ILF users
The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) in Northern Ireland has launched a consultation for views on how current users of the ILF in Northern Ireland can be supported from 1 July 2015.
The consultation was launched on 4 August 2014 and will run until 30 November 2014.
It sets out 5 different options for the future and asks respondents:
- to set out their preferred option and why
- for their views on whether current Independent Living Fund (ILF) recipients in Northern Ireland should have their payments protected
- if any other options should be considered
We have written to all ILF users in Northern Ireland, or their award managers, about the consultation.
