The Prime Minister reappoints Trustee to the Board of the Natural History Museum

The Prime Minister has reappointed Professor Sir John Holman to the Board of Trustees of the Natural History Museum for 4 years from 19 September 2015.

Biography

Sir John Holman is a Professor in the Chemistry Department of the University of York and senior adviser in education to the Wellcome Trust. He was director of the National Science Learning Centre from 2004 to 2010, and adviser to the government as National Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) Director. He has wide experience as an educational policymaker, curriculum developer and school principal. He was knighted in 2010, for services to education and was elected President-Elect of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2015.
