Turks and Caicos Islands Post Cabinet Statement 27 December 2018
Her Excellency the Acting Governor, Mrs Anya Williams, chaired the 29th meeting of Cabinet on Thursday, 27 December 2018, at the Government Compound Office on Grand Turk.
All Ministers were present except the Hon. Deputy Premier.
At this meeting Cabinet:

advised Her Excellency the Acting Governor to approve the Companies and Limited Partnerships (Economic Substance) Regulations 2018

advised Her Excellency the Acting Governor to approve an application by Fortis TCI Limited for an easement over Crown Land Parcel 10506/114 at South Suburbs, Grand Turk, for the purpose of establishing a fuel pipeline

noted the recommendations of the Procurement Board on the award of the following contracts in accordance with the Public Procurement Ordinance – TR 18/10 Refurbishment of Ministry of Infrastructure – EMS (Ambulance) Base, Providenciales; an amendment to TR18/07 Schools Infrastructure Project Phase 1, Lot 1 H J Robinson High School, Grand Turk, previously noted by Cabinet in October 2018

advised Her Excellency the Acting Governor to approve the draft Road Traffic (Radar Speed Meter) Regulations 2018

noted the recent decision taken by Cabinet by round robin as follows - authorised the Ministry of Finance, Invest TCI, the Attorney General’s Chambers and the TCI Airports Authority to commence exploratory talks with TVED Ltd on a proposal to develop an international airport on North Caicos following which a paper will be submitted to Cabinet for consideration;
