Industrial strategy: government and industry in partnership
A collection of documents relating to industrial strategy.
These documents support industrial strategy. They explore areas where government action can have a real and early impact across 5 themes:
- working with all sectors and developing strategic partnerships with those where we can have the most impact on growth
- supporting emerging technologies
- improving access to finance for businesses
- working with business to help develop skills they need
- developing supply chains and simplifying government procurement processes
Through industrial strategy, the whole of government is working in partnership with industry to set the long term direction needed to give business the confidence to invest. We aim to create more opportunities, skilled jobs and to make the UK more competitive so British businesses can thrive and compete with rising economies.
