Dominic Field

Biography

Dominic Field was appointed a Non-Executive Director at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) (the department) in April 2024.

Dominic is an experienced corporate leader with over 30 years of experience including a 20-year career in consulting at Boston Consulting Group. He was the founder leader of Boston Consulting Group digital and has many years of experience working with prominent company boards to implement digital solutions.

Dominic is a Board Member and Chair of the Commercial Committee at London and Partners and is a Trustee of the Design Museum.

Dominic received his degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford. He also received an MBA with distinction from the UCLA Anderson School of management.

Non-executive board member

The main responsibilities of non-executive board members are to:

  • attend meetings of the departmental board, chaired by the Secretary of State
  • provide over-arching strategic guidance and insight to the department
