On 19 August 2009, VerdErg Renewable Energy Limited was awarded a grant by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, to assist it to carry out an initial work programme designed to raise the development status of its Spectral Marine Energy Converter (SMEC).

This report gives an overview of the SETS work undertaken by VerdErg between August 2009 and January 2010.
