Details

This study forms part of the evidence base as to whether AS level results are necessary to predict university outcomes, or whether GCSE results alone would suffice.

The study uses logistic regression models, which estimate the probability of getting a 2:1 based on a student’s prior attainment and the university that they attended.

This study is the supporting analysis for a letter from David Laws to Kevin Brennan, 14 May 2013.
