Two days of workshops for those who are new to Knowledge Asset Management.
Who can apply
UK government public sector organisations with an Accounting Officer responsible for upholding Managing Public Money (MPM).
This includes:
- UK central government departments
- arm’s-length bodies
- Public Sector Research Establishments
It excludes:
- local government organisations
- NHS secondary and tertiary care sectors (such as NHS Trusts)
- publicly-owned commercial organisations
What is covered: The bootcamp will run over two days. Attendees can register for one or both days depending on their needs. The content will be split across two days:
Day one – the basics of Knowledge Assets:
- What are Knowledge Assets and the different types in public sector
- The importance of Knowledge Assets
- Identifying Knowledge Assets
- Knowledge Asset management, protection and exploitation
- The challenges in government organisations in Knowledge Asset Management
Day two – commercialising your idea:
- Market research and evaluation
- Routes to market
- Exploitation strategies and options
