Details

The Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) 2004/22/EC, requires that member states shall take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that instruments placed on the market meet the requirements of the directive. As part of the National Measurement and Regulation Office’s (NMRO) overarching corporate objectives, the utilities business team have initiated the UK’s first market surveillance project in relation to active electrical energy meters approved under Annex MI-003 of the MID.
