This process only applies to standard individual export licence (SIEL) applications submitted by registered firearms dealers in Great Britain. This is to export items that were previously authorised by the dealer-to-dealer open individual export licence (OIEL) for export to a registered firearms dealer in an EU country.
Most exports by firearms dealers in Great Britain must be authorised by a SIEL. The dealer-to-dealer OIEL is only valid for exports from Northern Ireland.
Pre-submitting consignee details reduces the processing time for SIEL applications.
Send your completed pro-forma to firearmsdealerforms@trade.gov.uk.
