The department’s review of the Airports Commission’s final report found that it is a sound and robust piece of evidence.

The review also identified areas where further work could be helpful. The further analysis supports the Airports Commission’s analytical approach and helps to give greater assurance to the areas raised for further consideration in the department’s review.
