The study assesses the fitness for purpose of 3 electrophoresis instruments using a pre-validated ‘GMO multiplex screen’ protocol for the qualitative detection of DNA from GMOs.

The Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100, Lab901 TapeStation, and the Shimadzu MCE-202 MultiNA were selected as a representative cross-section of electrophoresis instruments available.
