If you live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or a British Overseas Territory

Use this form if you need to prove to the authorities in your home country that you have not become a British citizen.

If you live elsewhere

If you live elsewhere, apply online.

You can get help with your online application if you are in the UK and you do not have the appropriate access, skills or confidence to complete an online immigration application form.

2. 16 April 2020

   Applying by post is taking much longer than applying online because of coronavirus (COVID-19). It is taking longer than usual to process applications because of coronavirus. This will not affect the decision.
