Description: The objective of the ADViCE is to support and promote the adoption and diffusion of AI decarbonisation applications. The programme strategy is to understand and address barriers that prevent companies from using AI decarbonisation applications; setup a virtual centre to act as a coordination and enabling hub; identify innovation opportunities (challenges/unmet needs) to develop new high growth AI decarbonisation applications; and initiate and facilitate stakeholder engagement and diffusion. The programme will create multiple parallel work streams to bring together stakeholders such as adopters, AI developers, investors, local government, institutions, regulatory authorities, and academics. The virtual centre will be led in partnership with Energy Systems Catapult and the Alan Turing Institute.
