This report presents the findings of a 2018 survey on public awareness of, and attitudes towards, the use of animals in scientific research. The survey also examines attitudes towards, and trust in, the regulatory system and the people who work with animals in research.

This is the third survey in a series started in 2014. It is based on a long-term survey that has been running since 1999 but, as the questions have changed, direct comparisons are not possible. You can read:
