This updated outbreak assessment details reports of Aujeszky’s disease in pigs, wild boar and dogs in France over the last 2 years.

The most recent report of Aujeszky’s disease is on a domestic pig farm in northern France in February 2024. The risk to the United Kingdom is still very low.
