Details

The Badger Edge Vaccination Scheme (BEVS 2) provides funding towards the cost of vaccinating badgers in the Edge Area of England from 2019 until February 2023.

These documents set out the details of BEVS 2, and the policy background:

• the ‘scheme outline’ sets out the criteria that applicants need to meet to secure grant funding
• the ‘how to run a scheme to vaccinate badgers’ document outlines practical aspects of a badger vaccination project

1. 3 May 2022

   Updated the guidance to show the scheme is closed to applications and the funding ends in February 2023.

2. 3 July 2019

   Updated the information in the scheme outline. The deadline for applications is 10 August 2019.

3. 11 December 2018

   Updated as the scheme is now open for applications until 25 January 2019.

4. 13 September 2018

   Updated to make it clear that this content is still valid, although we'll be updating some details (like dates) in due course. This is because expressions for interest have been requested today (13 September 2018).
