This publication lists the benefit rates and pension rates for 2022 to 2023 as set out in the written ministerial statement made by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on 25 November 2021.

  1. Published the benefit and pension rates for 2022 to 2023.

  2. Corrected some rates in the HTML version of benefit and pension rates. Under 'Deductions' the non-dependant income bands corrected to: less than £154, £154 to £223.99, £224 to £291.99, £292 to £388.99, £389 to £483.99, £484 and above. The Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) premium for a pensioner couple with support component corrected from £117.50 to £117.05. The Housing Benefit personal allowance for a couple where the claimant is entitled to main phase (ESA) corrected form £1117.40 to £117.40.
