This licence allows you to move samples from premises in a protection zone or surveillance zone for salmonella testing.

Details

This general licence allows you to move samples from premises in a protection zone or surveillance zone for salmonella testing.

This licence only allows you to move samples during outbreaks of avian influenza strains starting ‘H5N’ - for example, H5N1 and H5N5. You cannot use this licence to move samples during an outbreak of any other strains of HPAI, such as H7N9.

You do not need to apply for this general licence but you must meet its conditions and follow its instructions.
