This publication was previously published by Public Health England, which closed on 30 September 2021.
This publication explains the use of whole colon imaging as an alternative to a colonoscopy as part of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP). It replaces ‘Guidelines for the use of imaging in the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme’ (NHS BCSP publication number 5, 2012).
The guidelines include information on:
