Details

This report by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) recommends changes to the list of prescribed diseases for which people can claim Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

The recommended changes affect the entry for prescribed disease A1. They include extending:

  • the terms to cover 6 additional cancers
  • the existing coverage of ‘female breast cancer’ to allow claims in affected men
