Caprine and ovine (live) model health certificates: version history

Applies to England, Scotland and Wales
Competent authorities in EU and non-EU countries must provide a health certificate to exporters of animals and animal products to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Competent authorities should use the updates below to make changes to health certificates for exporters to ensure they are in line with the current version of the model health certificates.

- Attestation AH/T121: References to Epizootic Haemorrhagic Disease have been removed from section (d) and a new line has been added to the Either option ‘and the animals have been kept in that territory for at least 60 days in accordance with WOAH code’. In section (d) ‘present in the source population as demonstrated through a surveillance programme in an area with a 150km radius around the holding(s) of origin described under box reference I.11’ has been changed to ‘officially reported anywhere in the whole territory as demonstrated through a surveillance programme during at least the preceding 24 months’ and a table has been added to the second OR option. A new section (e) which is specific to Epizootic Haemorrhagic Disease has been added. The notes for completion have been amended in line with these changes.
- Attestation AH/E011: in section (a) ‘60 days’ has been changed to ‘90 days’ and section (b) ‘in the previous 40 days’ has been added as well as amending the disease free radius for Rift Valley Fever to 100km. ‘The distances specified apply irrespective of national or territorial boundaries’ has been added to the notes for completion.

- ‘Retained’ has been changed to ‘Assimilated’ throughout the certificate.
