Caprine and ovine (live): model health certificates
Competent authorities of exporting countries should use the relevant model health certificate as a template to create a version exporters can apply for to export live caprine and ovine to Great Britain, the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Details
From 1 January 2021, live caprine and ovine exported to Great Britain must be accompanied by the relevant health certificate. Exporters in EU and non-EU countries should read the guide on how to complete a health certificate.
Certificate GBHC630
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for domestic ovine animals (Ovis aries) and domestic caprine animals (Capra hircus) intended for breeding and/or production after importation (Regulation 206/2010) (OVI-X).
Certificates GBHC631
Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.
Model health certificate for domestic ovine animals (Ovis aries) and domestic caprine animals (Capra hircus) intended for immediate slaughter after importation (Regulation 206/2010) (OVI-Y).
