Use this form to register most transactions on a property. You will normally need to submit another form and/or appropriate evidence as well.

We have added a side note to panel 4 to explains the ways a private individual can pay fees to HM Land Registry and a side note to panel 7 to explain which customers can and cannot apply for a key number.

The guidance notes for the completion of the form have been amended to clarify that we will not send a notification to someone else at the same firm that has lodged the application.

We added a guidance note about our personal information charter, which explains how we process customer data. We also added a note to clarify that only professional customers will have a key number and a note about the identity evidence panels, to specify that a separate box must be used for each party.
