Details

The CMA wrote to Cardif Pinnacle about two breaches of the PPI Order. The breaches relate to incorrect information provided in Annual Review statements to PPI customers. With breach one, 4,808 PPI customers received inaccurate Annual Reviews since 2012. With breach two, four customers received inaccurate Annual Reviews in which the Permanent Total Disablement cover was recorded as £0.01 rather than £10,000. Cardif Pinnacle has sent an apology letter to all impacted customers with the offer of a refund of premiums.
