Details
Where a merger is being investigated by competition authorities in other jurisdictions, the CMA will typically seek a confidentiality waiver from the merger parties. This would enable the CMA to share confidential information, including documents and data, and discuss merger proceedings with other competition authorities in such multi-jurisdictional merger investigations.
