Response to the Independent Review of Pornography: letter to Baroness Bertin

Details

The Independent Pornography Review is an assessment of the legislation, regulation and enforcement of pornography. The review provides recommendations for government, regulatory bodies, and the sector to ensure that harmful impacts of pornography are addressed.

To strengthen the evidence base and inform the final recommendations, the review held a call for evidence in early 2024.

This report includes mentions of content that some readers may find distressing and disturbing. This includes references to sexual violence, child sexual abuse material, as well as offensive and explicit language. Content warnings have been included ahead of relevant chapters, but please be aware that this report may be difficult to read at times.
