These reports are an analysis of the diversity characteristics of Department for Transport staff in post between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2016. It includes data on job applicants for posts in DfT. The analysis covers DfT (centre) and the 5 executive agencies. This includes the Highways Agency. The Highways Agency became Highways England in April 2015 and became an executive non departmental public body sponsored by DfT.
The data looks at staff in post, cessations, recruitment grievance and discipline, training, sickness absence, performance marking and progression. It considers whether there were significant differences with respect to:
- gender
- race
- disability
- pay band
- age
- sexual orientation
- religion and belief
- working pattern
