Details

Thermal performance is often assumed to be constant over the service life of insulation. The aim of this project was to establish the existing evidence on the impact of retrofit degradation over time, and what it means for insulation performance.

This report summarises current understanding, classifying key mechanisms for degradation and makes recommendations for how to address identified knowledge gaps.
