Details

Use this form if you are a lending institution or acting on behalf of a lender and you need to apply for approval of a digital mortgage deed in order to use our Sign your mortgage deed service. This includes the allocation of the official HM Land Registry e-MD reference.

You must also make sure that a paper version of the same deed is approved using Standard form of charge: approval (ACD).

You can submit the ACD form on its own, or submit the e-ACD on its own if the paper mortgage deed was approved some time ago, or submit them together.

If you do not submit an ACD form, it will not stop you using the digital service, but it would cause a problem if for some reason a borrower cannot use the digital service and needs to complete in paper.

HM Land Registry will send a reply by email.
