Details

Digital Nations member countries endorsed the Digital Nations Charter during the 2019 Ministerial Summit. The Charter sets out members’ commitment to share best practices, and work together to solve common problems in digital government. The Charter outlines nine core principles of digital government that member countries commit to fulfilling, relating to:

  • user needs
  • open standards
  • open source
  • open markets
  • open government (transparency)
  • connectivity
  • digital skills and confidence
  • assisted digital
  • commitment to share and learn

All member countries of the Digital Nations are also members of the Open Government Partnership.
