The local authority insight survey aims to discover how local authorities administer benefits and gather their points of view on current issues. Wave 31 of the survey covers:
- Discretionary Housing Payments – help from the council for Housing Benefit claimants having difficulties meeting their housing costs
- temporary accommodation
- Universal Support delivered locally – local support to help people move to Universal Credit
