These briefings for directors of public health, commissioners, drug treatment services and needle and syringe programmes provide information and intelligence on blood-borne viruses, bacterial infections, mental and physical health harms and drug-related deaths from meetings of the national intelligence network.
They aim to inform commissioning and service provision to improve local services.
