Details

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) publishes details about staff numbers and payroll costs for payroll and non-payroll staff on a monthly basis.

  1. The new Arms Length Body (ALBs) was added, Information commissioner’s Office and the total headcount has increased by 1075 staff and total salary cost increased by £5,285,921. The main DSIT department total salary costs have been reduced by £6,120,895. We have removed the salary costs for staff who have moved from another organisation, as they shouldn't be included until April 2024 when their salary will be paid from DSIT payroll.
