Details

Highlights of the DVLA annual report and accounts:

  • for the first time, we completed 1 billion transactions within the year, over 90% of them online
  • we retained both the Customer Service Excellence and Customer Contact Association standards
  • in 2017 - 18 our overall customer satisfaction was 92.9%
  • we achieved over £37 million cost reduction against our 2015 spending review target and we are on track to achieve £100 million savings by 2019 - 20
  • we collected around £6 billion in Vehicle Excise Duty (VED)
  • we won several awards including the Digital 100’s Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year 2017, the Skills Award in the Civil Service Awards and our Head of Business Finance Support won the Government Finance Leader of the year award
