Details
The framework sets the outcomes that the Secretary of State expects to be achieved from the reformed education and training system. The outcomes are set in terms of the impact for patients, users of services and carers.
The framework will be used to measure improvements in education, training and workforce development and the impact on the quality and safety of services for patients.
The ‘Education Outcomes Framework Indicators Technical Guidance 2013/14’ provides detail of each of the education outcome indicators and a summary of information for indicators that require further development. These build on the two priority areas identified in 2012 to 2013 of ensuring safe supervision and improving Board level engagement in education, training and workforce development.
