This report brings together the findings of:
- a rapid review of UK evidence on remote teaching
- in-depth school and college case studies involving 45 interviews with:
- senior school and college leaders
- staff members responsible for buying and implementing EdTech tools
- staff members with lead responsibility for remote education
- class teachers with experience of remote teaching
- an analysis of school and college monitoring and assessment data (final sample of 16)
The report highlights:
- what schools and colleges reported worked well when using EdTech to support remote teaching
- what worked less well
- where there are gaps in functionality
