Details

This review identifies approaches different countries take to decision making around technology in schools for pupils aged 4 to 18. A geographical mix of 14 countries were reviewed using primary sources supplemented with information from academic literature.

The review considered:

  • which bodies take decisions about spending in the delivery chains
  • which bodies take decisions about technology choices, and whether there is a specific rationale for these decisions
  • what programmes countries use to upskill teachers and learners or to mitigate existing issues
  • any common models in place between different countries
