Record accommodation and care arrangements for CITES species for import and if they're about to move to new premises.

If you’re importing or moving endangered animals to new premises, you must submit a record of accommodation and care arrangements.
You must complete and submit an accommodation and care form if you’re:
- moving an endangered species that is subject to a movement restriction to new premises
- importing an endangered species into the UK for the first time

Moving animals
You must apply for permission to move an animal to new premises if it’s listed under Annex A of CITES and subject to movement restrictions (as listed on your permit or certificate).
Use the first form – Movement of a CITES Annex A specimen from the permitted address: accommodation, care and conservation use questionnaire – for animals under a:
- movement restriction condition on a CITES import permit
- commercial use certificate
- previously issued certificate
Importing animals
If you’re applying to import a CITES-listed animal into the UK for the first time, you must complete the form called Live animals: accommodation and care questionnaire.
If you’re applying to import a CITES-listed aquatic species into the UK for the first time, you must complete the form called Live aquatic: accommodation and care questionnaire.
