Details
Use form WLRS02 to confirm that you’re the new owner of a gifted or loaned specimen of a species listed under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
A specimen is a living or dead plant or animal or any of its parts, or an item made from these.
Use the Species+ tool to search for an endangered species. Check which annex (A, B, C or D) it’s classified under. You only need the certificate for use of a species listed under annex A of CITES.
You can send the completed form by email to wildlife.licensing@apha.gov.uk or by post to:
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
UK CITES Management Authority
Horizon House
Deanery Road
Bristol
BS1 5AH
Check if you need a CITES permit to import or export endangered species for more information on CITES controls and species.
