Details

On 6 April 2015 the previous Government implemented the Gaming Machine (Circumstances of Use)(Amendment) regulations 2015. The policy objective of these regulations is to assist people who use sub-Category B2 gaming machines (commonly known as FOBTs) to stay in control of their gambling behaviour by requiring that those accessing higher stakes (over £50) load cash via staff interaction or use account based play.
