Details

The Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 requires the Home Secretary to report every 2 years on fire and rescue authorities’ compliance with the fire and rescue national framework for England.

The 2016 progress report outlines:

  • the extent to which fire and rescue authorities are complying with the framework
  • steps taken by the Home Secretary to make sure that fire and rescue authorities comply
