Details

The Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) Strategy for England was published in 2020. An initial 1-year action plan showing the actions needed was published on 12 May 2021.

A longer-term view is now needed to keep the country on track to implement the strategy. To address this the Environment Agency has worked with partners to develop a roadmap. The roadmap contains practical actions out to 2026. By completing them we will be on track to implement the strategy’s 2100 vision.

We will continue to work with partners to ensure we meet the strategy’s long term ambitions.
