RFI 087: Digital Board Software - Tender Exercise

Subject: Freedom of Information request

I refer to your emails dated 17 and 20 February 2024, in which you asked for the following information to be provided about the tender exercise for SSRO-C-127 Digital Board Software:

  1. Copy of successful tender – we want this information under freedom of Information act 2000
  2. Scoring table of all bidders, split by scores awarded for each question of bid
  3. Price/Cost Proposed by each Bidder – we want this information for all the bidders who submitted the response.
  4. Name of the Winning Bidder.
  5. Name & Rank of all bidders who submitted responses.
  6. Approximate date that the tender will be reissued towards the end of the current contract period.

We have considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the FOI Act). I can confirm that we hold the information requested.

The information which can be disclosed is either set out below or a copy of it is attached. The remainder of the information is exempt from disclosure under section 21 of the FOI Act. This is because the information is accessible to you, as it is already in the public domain. I have identified below, in the order you set out, the status of the information requested:

  3. The winning bidder’s price is available using the link above. The price submitted by the only other bidder was £42,510.
  4. This is available using the link above.
  5. The other bidder was Azeus UK LTD.
  6. If the SSRO decides to retender for this software, it would aim to do so approximately 6 months before the contract end date (which is available using the link above). If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of our response to your request and should be addressed to: enquiries@ssro.gov.uk.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
