This is the six in a series of quarterly reports that will provide regular updates on developments in food and feed law and related scientific and regulatory issues.

This report contains information on updates on contaminant controls, particularly in cereal-based foods for infants and young children, along with amended and corrected food additive laws and flavourings controls. The report also describes a new regulation to increase surveillance on imported groundnut and groundnut products from Brazil, Capsicum anuum and nutmeg from India and nutmeg from Indonesia due to increased risk of aflatoxin contamination.
