G7 Ministerial Declaration: deployment of AI and innovation

The Declaration sets out:
- a report analysing driving factors and challenges of AI adoption and development among companies, especially mirco, Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
- collaborating to foster growth in the quantum industry, and the importance of skills needed for the quantum workforce.
- a new semiconductors Point of Contact (POC) group to facilitate information exchange and sharing best practises among G7 members.
- a Joint Statement on Secure Connectivity for Secure and Resilient Digital Communications Networks.
- to ensure the long-term sustainability of outer space activities, including orbital debris mitigation.
- to explore the development of mechanisms to monitor the application of the Hiroshima Artificial Intelligence Process (HAIP) Code of Conduct.
- an AI Toolkit to help the public sector and, where relevant, other stakeholders, translate principles of safe, secure and trustworthy AI into actionable policies.
- a compendium of Digital Government Services to share good practice of digital government initiatives.
