Details

The Government Commercial Function has published its strategy for 2021-2025.

The current UK Government Commercial Function (GCF) Strategy, set to conclude in March 2025, will be extended until the end of March 2026. From April 2026, it will be replaced by a joint Commercial and Grants Strategy.

We will use FY 2025-26 to:

  • Fully round off enduring elements of the GCF Strategy 2021-25 and undertake a number of new priority projects
  • Leverage the multiple opportunities provided by the Procurement Act 2023

We remain committed to being the best Commercial function in the UK.
