The Government Construction Strategy is the framework for a range of workstreams, all of which have the ultimate aim of reducing the cost of government construction projects by 15-20% by the end of the current Parliament.
The Strategy was published in May 2011 and publicly launched by the Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude, in July 2011. On 2 July 2012, the One Year On report and Action Plan update were published.
